Why these rich types feel they need to criminalise other people is beyond me. Did you know in the U.K. the maximum prison term for raping a dead person is 2 years? This woman got 7 for stealing some money off a bloke worth four hundred million.

kind of a dick move but i also can't blame him.  It's his art.  It's not for others to profit on like this if he doesn't consent ahead of time.

I can agree with that if he's suing a company who is profiting off him, but a lady selling 1 disc on ebay? Clapton is a complete dick.

Exactly. If he had sued the producers of the bootleg, fine. But she gets to pay 3 400$ to EC for a 10$ CD. That’s just plain stupid.

I’m not with you on this. He’s worth tens of millions and sued a woman who has next to nothing for selling 1 CD on eBay.

i'd say he's more of a dick for stealing his best friend's wife, but yeah, i guess it really was a bad move.  maybe he sent a cease and desist notice first?

just read this article and it puts the case into better context than just a headline.  seems to make more sense to me now than he's just greedy.
