Best album of 2022 in my book.

I disagree.

It’s pretty meh as an album although I guess it may work better live. For me, Yorke’s best side project was Atoms for Peace and his soundtrack to the film ‘Suspiria’.

Can't agree - it is IMO an album of real beauty and depth and it really has layers that are not necessarily immediately apparent but then keep revealing themselves over listens.

I was in the 'it is ok to good' camp for first month or so which is usually the point for me where an album either sticks or i lose interest - this one stuck and stuck big time and it sits in the 'very good' category for me now.

If it was released as a full Radiohead album nobody would feel it would be out of place in my view and in fact it would be well reveived - not a an all timer like Kid A or OKC but as a very good addition to a wonderful discography.

Fact it has songs as diverse as The Smoke and You'll Never Work in Television again on it and a song in Free in The Knowledge that sits nicely alongside Radiohead's more direct and anthemic songs means for me it is a very good album and would be a good Radiohead album.

I've enjoyed it more than any other record this year, in what has been a very good year.

Perhaps I should persevere then. I revisited it just last week but switched off 4 songs in as it began to irritate me.

Have you heard the Suspiria soundtrack?

Smile live album....

https://pitchfork.com/news/the-smile-announce-new-live-album/amp/

now back to my question.

rank ALFAA with the Rh albums.

Apologies, Sir...I honestly thought i had done this

Not an easy task as we are talking about what I consider one of the greatest discographies around and a standalone side project record that I consider to be a  very, very good record will as good as it is find it hard to rank highly in such company....

But here goes...

Kid A
OKC
In Rainbows
Amnesiac
The Bends
ALFAA
HTTT
AMSP
TKOL
Pablo Honey
