The Radiohead appreciation thread that's also a Radiohead poll

As An Tha pointed out there appears to be no dedicated Radiohead appreciation page. Therefore I have started one, in honour of this legendary band. Although an almost impossible choice to make, Pablo Honey notwithstanding, I have selected In Rainbows disc 1 as their finest work.

I voted In Rainbows. To me it combines both sides of Radiohead : the experimental and the pop. It is the most balanced Radiohead album, IMO.

It is of course a magnificent record, it would probably be the undisputed No.1 in pretty much any other bands cannon....but Radiohead have such a body of work that dare i say it, it is just almost the norm for them.

Although of course generally it is always at or very near the top of 'best of all time' lists.

It is probably easy to overlook just how great it is.

OK Computer is the best by a mile and theres no question. I don't get the love for In Rainbows..never have. it's just the norm for them.

In Rainbows is the only 21st cent Radiohead album I've listened to more than twice because it's the only album in their catalog where it sounds like they were relaxed and having fun while they were making it. I don't know if I can say I love it, but I like it a helluva lot.
