well it would have been DLR-Roth-Cherone than prob an encore with all 3 at some point
I saw the interview but even if they included Cherone it would be a guest spot for like 1 song. No way he’d get a set. He was on 1 album that was very unpopular.
true but how popular were the Van hagar albums with the DLR-only crowd? i could see a mass exodus after Roth was done. Cherone couldn't do worse than that, i bet he'd do whichever singles were on 3 and then come out for the finale.
also, were does Wolfgang fit in? no way dad lets his son sit the whole tour out.
I think DLR would get the last set. Van Hagar was pretty popular. I saw them in 1992 play to about 25,000 people. And there were lots of fans who crossed over. My buddies and I, while bigger Roth fans, still liked a lot of the Hager stuff.
Set 1. 8 Hagar songs, 1 Cherone
Set 2. 9 Roth songs
Encore 2 songs with both Sammy and Dave
