A 26 year old So Cruel, full of piss and vinegar, travels with a friend from Vancouver, BC to Tacoma, Wash. to see the 2nd best concert he’s ever seen (Zoo TV arena #1).

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band reunion show was jaw dropping, and this song was the best live performance of a song I’ve ever seen. House lights come on and 25,000 people on their feet going nuts. This version is from New York the same tour.

IS THERE ANYBODY ALIVE OUR THERE!

Perhaps the best MTV unplugged performance there ever was. It's set apart with inventive instrumentation, and her voice sounds phenomenal here.

I freakin love this band ever since I heard Runaway Found.  Finn Andrews is the son of Barry Andrews of XTC and Shriekback fame.

Brilliant performance! The last two songs are amazing.....Charmer and Slow Night, So Long. The crowd singing a long to Charmer is incredible.

What are we going to do now it's all been said.
No new ideas in the house and every book has been read.

Might not be a highly regarded song in an incredible cannon, but this performance is spine tingling.

Those notes and screams towards end around 3 mins on are staggering.

It's a great cover.  Should have been a single from Some Girls.

This is very, very cool. In Canada the Tragically Hip are a national treasure. Their singer and lyricist Gord Downie died a few years back and their final show was broadcast nationwide and watched by 1/3 of the country.

Last week they were given an award for their charitable work and played a song with the Canadian singer Leslie Feist taking Gords place. First time they’ve played since he died. The song they did is one of my favourites from them, It’s a Good Life if you Don’t Weaken. This one wouldn’t sound out of place on The Unforgettable Fire, and is different then their typical more straight ahead rock sound.

Take a listen, it’s a damn good song.
