I think I put (my version of) Disappearing Act on my NLOTH playlist, it's a good home for that track.
Listen as Hope and Peace try to rhyme,
Listen over marching bands playing out their time.

That song should have been in our top ten post Pop list.

I suppose it was released after Pop, but how much of it was recorded after TUF sessions? Was the whole thing redone or was it just the vocals?

Otherwise it would be pretty high in my top post-Pop songs list.

I despite having zero interest in u2 now know the answer to this as it is a song of theirs i genuinely loved. So i thought i'd make a rare u2 related post...

Rather than me explain it badly though here is a well put together piece that answers your question:

Fez/Being Born
NLOTH

MOS

White As Snow
Breathe

the problem is, thats too many openers. ive tried using Soon as opener and closer and it honestly didnt work either place. then youve got the issue is Fez and NLOTH both being suited to open the album. Fez is better but NLOTH has no real place anywhere else.

I like to think of my rearranged track listing in terms of a vinyl record. NLOTH opens side 1, Fez opens side 2.

From what I hear most of the instrumental is from 1984 and the vocals are from 2009. I have a doubt regarding the keyboard sound on the 8 note melody. My take is that they augmented it with a new sound over the demo but I’m not sure. I’m pretty sure bass/drums/guitars are from 1984.
A dangerous idea that almost makes sense...
