best version! love the final verse, and the shouts over the last chorus aren't an awful idea but do sound strange here.

Just ordered No Line on vinyl for $12 off e-bay, $18 w shipping. Still sealed but with 'display wear'. Not sure what that could be but will see.  Admittedly I can't stand this album but it's the last of their studio albums that i'm missing on vinyl (although i have yet to splurge of SOS on vinyl, which was down to $80 last time i checked).
Amazon doesn't even sell No Line on vinyl new anymore except from private sellers.

I appreciate other people's love for it, but it just doesn't do anything for me after the opener.  I find it boring to state it bluntly, which i never thought a u2 album would be for me.

I still have a lot of love for this album, despite some of its flaws. It's still an album that take me somewhere else and retains some of those beautiful soundscapes the band can do so well.

For sure Fez would have been a great opener. Instead we got nonsense the stingray guitar or breathe. If they’d focused on the best bits of NLOTH and given us some deep career cuts and dropped the claw, it could have been an interesting artistic statement

Didn't they change the track list just prior to releasing? If the album was meant to tell a story, seems like it would be set in stone. I never liked the idea of the story. Quite a departure for their albums- although the Anton Corbijn 'movie' that came with the deluxe edition was at least interesting.  I believe he's the one who said the order and song list was changed which kind of messed up his film.
