Nah.

Williams undoubtedly composed great movie scores, but I?m talking about classical music in the traditional sense.

I?m thinking more of composers. I guess the knock on Williams is that his music was made for scores of movies, which obviously wasn?t an option in the time of the great classical composers, but I do believe Williams scores/music will be remembered just like Mozarts and Beethoven?s are.

Doubtful.

I mean who sits down and listens to the SW movie soundtrack in their living room?

Agree some themes will endure, though.

I flipped back and forth between Moraz and Wakeman. I went with Moraz because the one Yes album that he played on probably has as many great keyboard moments as all the Wakeman Yes albums together, in addition to the work Moraz did with the band Refugee and others. But in hindsight, Wakeman's playing on Yes' "Heart Of The Sunrise" is one of my favorite keyboard parts ever. And his Mellotron work on "And You And I" is one of the legendary climactic moments in the genre of progressive rock. It's a toss-up, really.

I think we all know people who own the SW soundtrack on vinyl and who listen to the theme.
As for me, i own the Twin Peaks soundtrack on vinyl and listen to that theme.
