I remember arriving in NYC two years ago and as we were starting to see the city skyline, my kids started blasting Empire State of Mind in the car stereo. Epic!

Empire State of Mind is miles better. But tbh, there are better songs about NYC than either of them.

I like Alicia a lot, she’s in my top 50 artists on Spotify, but that song never did anything for me.
