I happen to think the UK has made most of the top music that the world has seen, since the 1960s.
So, which UK music artists would figure in your top 10?

Radiohead
The Cure
David Bowie
Blur
Joy Division
The Smiths
Kate Bush
Manic Street Preachers
Arctic Monkeys



Yeah yeah the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zepellin, Pink Floyd, The Who, Elton John et al are the big names - but I whilst acknowledging their impacts and legacies just don't like their music more than the bands and artists above.

1. Oasis (+Liam's solo stuff and High Flying Birds)
2. New Order/Joy Division
3. The Damned
4. Amy Winehouse
5. Depeche Mode
6. The Clash
7. The Buzzcocks
8. Billy Idol
9. Libertines/Babyshambles
10. The Vaccines

This doesn't count the numerous classic rock groups I like Stones, George Harrison, Hollies, Who, etc.

I am obsessed with the new Mysterines song Stray and the video!

Love Begin Again too.

I couldn't put them in a Top 10 like this yet but they are a new band who have made a massive impact with me.
