Think long. Think hard. Decide what’s the VERY WORST of Boy.

I hate to say it but I Will Follow is the least interesting song here. I'm going with IWF, but I really like every song on this album (and really from all of their first four albums).

Shadows and tall trees, by far.

All the songs on Boy benefit a lot from Steve Lillywhite ‘s input, if you compare them to early demos or early live versions.

Except this one. I don’t hate it but I don’t think it’s at the same level.
A dangerous idea that almost makes sense...

Went with Shadows and Tall Trees as I find it boring. Was close to voting for I Will Follow for the same reason. I like the rest of the album a lot.

I actually kind of like SATT. I get what people are saying about it, but I do find something I like in it.

My two skippers on this album are IWF and The Ocean. The Ocean is a creative tune, but it’s a weak spot. IWF is overrated by far (not in this crowd) but it was enough to ne a live staple, so I voted The Ocean.

I think it’s kind of funny that I’ve heard The Ocean performed live. Which would have been fine if Bono had shut the fuck up during it.

Yeah the "Do you feel in me anything redeeming" part is what saves SATT for me. I voted The Ocean, even though I've always enjoyed it live. The studio version isn't great, however.

Yeah the studio version is corny, but it's great live. The Red Rocks performance is epic.

SATT’s is great. A subtle take unlike clumsy stadium friendly nonsense like IWF or, indeed, Pride.

Yeah, that line is indeed the heart of it, and it really resonates.

IWF is a bit one dimensional and primitive. Not got the invention of the other songs.

Maybe that it why it was lead single. Basic & could become an anthem for them. In a way it has become an anthem & is sometimes played live.

It changes direction a bit half way through. But not enough to totally save it.

Don't hate it but voted for it.

Always liked Shadows as much as the others. So surprised.
