On some of the above
- Their live drummer sadly isn't considered one of band. In the album notes, about 90% of the drumming is actually credited to their producer James Ford. An exception is credit to Rebekah but I don't know if that's the same girl touring with them.
- I'm not too concerned with the industry plant suggestion. I'm not sure where to draw the line. Band get together, they are gifted musically and have a cult following but need a record deal to heavily promote them and get them noticed (like many of the biggest acts in history) - industry plant? Record company sees potential in session musicians and puts them together, leaving the art in their hands - industry plant? Did you see Justin's take on this?
Not saying my latter scenario happened by the way, just an example.
- The fuck lyric on their first single seemed a little lazy and unnecessary way of grabbing attention when the gorgeous melodies and musicianship could do that. Although to be fair, maybe they never imagined they'd be on primetime TV and national radio with it within 12 months. I keep watching their lips on TV performances to see if they forget to change the word but they never put a foot wrong!
