The way S6 showed how much of the show was from Chrissy’s view - most notably, where they laugh at him at Bada Bing’s and then post car crash - is just brilliant.
Makes Tony legit look like the devil.
Amazing show.

I sympathize with Tony.  I can sense the relief he feels when Chris is dead.  It was a huge weight off his mind.  As Al Capone used to say "there's nothing worse than a hophead."  In their world a government witness could send you to prison for life and Chris had a lot to sing about.
I agree. Like Big Puss and Blondetto, Chris had to go. He became too much of a risk. But, at the same time, it continually eroded Tony’s conscience even further and took him deeper down the path of sociopathy.

Chris was probably my favorite character.  I thought he deserved a better sendoff.
I get that sentiment - Chris was one of my favorites. But the anti-climaticism of it was the point.

Yep.  Same with the Big Tuna's exit.  Violently slumping forward onto the table with one behind the ear in front of his family as retribution for taking out Philly in front of his family.  Except we didn't see it.

The thing I like about the end of the Sopranos is that Paulie Gaultieri, the ultimate survivor, will end up as the boss of the crime family, even if it is only a glorified crew.

Who is even left other than Paulie by the end?

twin peaks deserves its own thread. i have a love/hate relationship with the show. has it's great moments and then laughably bad. unfortunately in the end, the bad outweighed the good.
don't get me started on the revival...

I love the original.
The first 17 are timeless and then it obviously went off the rails (even though I really enjoyed the Ben Horne subplots in the latter stretch).
The Lodge scenes in the finale were incredible.

Did not like the revival. It was too weird for me.

We need to get a Twin Peaks thread going, though.
