I thought at the time it would have been a great tune for Rattle & Hum, with the brass section and all. Of course it didn’t fit Achtung Baby.
Interestingly, elements of this song (chord progression, brass and a few notes from the melody) will take shape as « North and South of the River » later on. I love that version :
