I'll take Noel's rave reviews as fact.  But man, why is he kissing u2's ass so much these days.  I prefer Noel when he's slagging off bands.

Because he wants free entry into all the UK dates on E&I and he can't keep up with Irish drinking

I think he genuinely loves the band ... I was talking to him at the London I+E gig before he joined U2 on stage. I'd seen a photo of him at the gig the night before. I said "You were here last night, was it that good?" He said "Fucking brilliant but tonight is gonna be better" he seemed really happy.

When he walked out to sing ISHFWILF I knew then why he thought tonight was going to be better. He wanted to spill the beans then

I bet Liam could hold his own.  I find it hard to imagine that Noel can't.  He was a roadie before Oasis.  He's been around.
