Predictions for london
« on: November 09, 2017, 08:23:33 AM »
Assuming it is the rumoured 40 minutes what do folk think the set will be. Here's my go:

1. The blackout
2. You're the best thing
3. Get out of your own way
4. Where the streets..
5. Beautiful day
6. Vertigo
7. Ordinary love or new song
8. One
9. Little things....

Could be pretty accurate. They could play Streets after GOOYOW (it's has a pretty good outro for it) if they don't do a tape of Kendrick Lamar. If they do a tape, there'll probably be a rockier song.

They'll do GOOYOW for sure, that song is rehearsed (in studio I think). There was a short video on instagram

I'm a Vertigo fan but it would be really great not to drag it out yet again in one of their promo gigs.

Bullet is always welcome though, particularly after that blistering TV performance in the States.

1. Vertigo
2. The Blackout
3. You're the Best Thing About Me
4. Get Out Of Your Own Way
5. Beautiful Day
6. Ordinary Love
7. One
8. The Little Things That Give You Away

Similar to yours. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't play one of the new songs.

I predict Poppy u2 will be in full flow. I expect the usual suspects....(vertigo, Elevation, BD)..and also GOOYOW, The Blackout, TBTAYIM. Which all in all, would be the u2 gig from hell for me

Yeah they'll avoid their most creative decade for sure. Except maybe One.
Listen as Hope and Peace try to rhyme,
Listen over marching bands playing out their time.

The setlist will be all be from SoE. Maybe a song from SoI.
The Edge: “[Eno] would love to see us making albums a bit more like [Zooropa]. Where we go, ‘You know what? We’re not going to second-guess any of this. Let’s just go for it.’”

U2 Fans: We'd all love to see that, Edge.

1. Elevation (Tomb Raider Mix) Ft. Nicky Minaj

2. Vertigo Ft. Ed Sheeran (London Calling Snippet)

3. Beautiful Day Ft. Rita Ora (Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner snippet)

4. Every Breaking Wave (Piano version) Ft. The 2016 X Factor Finalists

5. I got you babe (cover) - Bono and Adele.

6. You're The Best Thing About Me with Kygo and Taylor Swift

7. The Little Things That Give You Away - Ft. Chris Martin and Elton John.

8. One - With the cast of High School Musical

You left out the bit where Bono opens his leather jacket to show off a Union Jack lining  ;)
