I've tried to avoid newer Disney films like the plague but with a 2 year old it's pretty difficult.  My son has a friend who is really into the Cars films so this past week it has been playing non-stop on the tv.  My bubs refers to it as red car.
I can't believe your son is two already...I remember when he was born!
yeah- time flies.  he's definitely in his terrible two's.

In about 4 to 5 years you need to take the family to Disneyland. The Cars ride there is an absolute blast.

Two from yesterday:
A Study in Terror (1969) Sherlock Holmes takes on Jack the Ripper.  Decent.  A young Judi Dench is init.

Gas Food Lodging (1992) Hadn't seen this one since it was released.  Enjoyed it.  Ione Skye looks like a Dutch girlfriend I had in college.

It wasn't that good but I can understand why it was a huge hit.

I watched Antman (again) last night. I just ADORE this movie (and the follow up). They are right up there with my fave Marvel type hero movies. A lot of fun 8.5/10.
The fact that my lil honey, Evangiline Lily is in the movie too, helps hugely :)
In the garden I was playing the tart
I kissed your lips and broke your heart
You
You were acting like it was the end of the world

The Snows of Kilimanjaro (1952) Movie adaptation of one of Hemingway's greatest stories staring Gregory Peck and Ava Gardner.  Love the short story but they changed the ending for the film which changes everything about the story for me.  Entertaining but disappointing.

Yeah, Evangiline Lily is beautiful, and a great actress. Im re-watching The Hobbit trilogy.....don't care if Tauriel was a character never written by Tolkien - E. Lily kills it!
What are we going to do now it's all been said.
No new ideas in the house and every book has been read.

Bye Bye Birdie (1963)
First time watching this.  Didn't like it at first but it's kind of grown on me in the last 24 hours.  A LOT of sexual innuendo and some funny scenes.  Maybe only three memorable songs but wow, Anne Margaret  :-*  Any movie with her dancing around can't be half bad.

With Bobby Rydell, right? Sheesh...believe it or not, my sister took me to see him in concert somewhere in New Jersey when I was little.

Yeah, he's one of the supporting roles.  I'm surprised that he was in a musical and only has a few lines of singing.  that's cool that you actually saw him perform.
