I really like it. More in common with the Blackout. Think this is going to be another curates egg of an album. Not convinced at all with GOOYOW but American Soul and the Blackout give me hope.

They're connecting SOE with SOI. American Soul with Volcano and "13" with SFS. It's pretty cool. A bit concerned about "13", but if American Soul is better than the SOI version, "13" will be, too.

By the way. It's great. Sounds great and digable (I think I could spin this song many times).

Actually the general public won't even notice it. It's U2 in 2017. The general public will go see the shows to hear songs from 30 years ago.

The only people that will notice this album will be people who are fans already.

That's what I thought, by the way: GOOYOW would sound better on the album. It's great: from a somewhat uplifting song to a somewhat rockier song. I can see them doing this live!
