What do these books have in common?

i own and have read them all.
i will guess that they were all banned.

Yeah. They’re the most banned books in the US
i didn't know some of those were banned.  trying to figure what's offensive about some of them.

I'd guess TKAM was banned because of the 'white saviour' angle.
i believe that one is because of it's use of the n word.  same as huckleberry finn. the white saviour complaint is pretty new i believe after hollywood came after the films The Help and Green Book.

I don't normally watch new films but Green Book is pretty good.

I'm just reading Stephen Hendry's autobiography Me And The Table.  At the end of each chapter he has a top five list of various things, one of which is My 5 Favourite Albums and his favourite album is Achtung Baby.

1. Achtung Baby - U2
2. The Wall -Pink Floyd
3. One Nil - Neil Finn
4. Vauxhall and I - Morrissey
5. In the Aeroplane Over the Sea - Neutral Milk Hotel

Heat 2 by Michael Mann.

Story covering the world of the movie Heat [1995] from before and after the film 1988-2000.  Too much focus on the character of Chris Shiherlis for my liking, especially post the events of the movie.

This Way To The Universe by Michael Dine. Non-fiction, but very speculative. Very intriguing ideas.

Found four Georges Simenon books on Amazon recently that i'd never seen in print before, so i've got my reading material for the next month sorted.  Starting off with The People Opposite.

Just finished Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote.  Rather boring and the main character is obviously gay even though the film turned this into a romance story between the two leads.  This is very similar to the book that Cabaret was based on, Goodbye to Berlin.  Both aren't particularly good but yet were turned into films that most people love.
I did like in the BAT book that Tiffany has vanished and it's when a carved statue is found in an African village that looks identical to her, the other characters get together and reminisce and wonder what happened to her.  Very ominous.
