Looks like Springsteen's releasing 7 albums that he recorded between 1983 and 2018 but never put out.   https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/bruce-springsteen-tracks-ii-the-lost-albums-1235309143/

45 years ago tonight, REM played their first gig. 9 years later, I saw them for the first time. From St. Mary's Episcopal to Cobo Arena in 9 years.

Funny how Americans assume if you support Palestinian independence, you support Hamas. No, Hamas is a terrorist organization.

What Kneecap knows, as does every person born in Ireland, South Africa or the US South in the pre-civil rights era, is that if you systemically choose to elevate one race over another, and the military power enforces a status quo, some people will choose violence. It's a tragic but logical consequence of saying "You are [White South African/ White Southern American/Irish Protestant, Israeli], so you get jobs, houses, police protection, good schools, healthcare, public facilities, etc.,  but you [Black Southern American/Irish Catholic/Black South African/Palestinian] get none of the above because of your [color/race/religion],  some people will choose to react to that with violence.

This doesn't mean you support the violence, it means you understand that if you change the treatment of the people, the reason for the violence stops.

Thankfully, in the US South, a pacifist was more prominent leader than the Panthers or Malcolm X, and thankfully in South Africa, Nelson Mandela was more prominent than Black leaders who advocated violence. But IF you take away the reason for the violence, most people will choose to follow the path of peace.

Fuck Hamas 100%

But of course there is a big difference between opposing what Israel are doing and supporting Hamas - just a shame that so many twist it to being the same.

For my money you can absolutely say fuck Israel for the awful shite that they are doing and have done for decades and doing so does not mean you support Hamas.

When Palestinians are parading dead Israelis including children, and raping women, and cheering, its obvious what side you're on when you say 'fuck Israel, Free Palestine'
