Interesting music items pop up constantly on the internet, but not all of it deserves its own discussion thread. In light of that fact, I'm starting this thread off with the stage times for the bands playing some radio station's Xmas show in 1995, courtesy of the band Garbage:

Can I take a time machine and go back to 1995 and see this show?
I feel my luck could change.

always good when a musician is reunited with an instrument that was stolen from them:   https://www.metrotimes.com/city-slang/archives/2019/02/07/billy-corgan-reunites-with-guitar-stolen-from-detroit-venue-in-1992

yea The Rentals shared that photo a few months ago. most thought it was fake. I mean THAT line up and NO ONES mentioned it since then? thats like the Live Aid of alt rock. I'm a massive fan of Oasis, Rh, Rentals and enjoy all the other bands (though i have no clue who Love and Rocks or Jawbreaker are) and never heard they all did a show together. Toadies are local and a much bigger deal here in Dallas than most other locals, i'm sure most see them as a one hit wonder (though im not sure which hit that "one hit" would be, but it would have been on Rubberneck).

I've heard of all the bands except for Jawbreaker.  I was pretty obsessed with Radiohead and Oasis back in 1995 and wouldn't have minded seeing any of the other bands except maybe Sonic Youth, which I really wasn't into then.
I feel my luck could change.

what song did Love and Rockets have?

if you havent seen Rh in concert even recently, you're missing out. they're great. As for Oasis, ive seen Noel 3 times in recent years and he's great in concert. Not the charismatic suave Liam but FUNNY story teller guy and i find his voice great.

i'd have forgotten if it wasnt that i just read the Beastie Boys Book AND have the DVD of the show. i mean Beasties, Beck, Foo Fighters, Pumpkins, Rage...and so many more....

This is the only song I've heard of:

I saw Radiohead for the first time last year.  I went to two shows and they are two of the best shows that I've ever been to.

I have a question. I'm hearing inpaired, so some sounds don't make sense to me.

Queensryche's Silent Lucidity - during the spoken word "dream control" section, that starts off with some odd - to me, anyway - sounds. Like someone is choking, or coughing. What IS that sound?
WINNER: Thread of the YEAR (Serious Awards)
