Streets in not my favorite song, I know sacrilege, but reading you describe your experience and playing the intro in my head gives me goose bumps all by itself.  Not many things can do that without actually experienceing it in real time.

Clearly you’re a troll ..... no actual U2 fan would admit that ......out .....loud.......actually come to think of it, you’re right - not my favorite either. :-)

U2 has a few songs that tend to be a conduit to God - Streets is certainly one of them. I started to get choked up reading this. Right up to to the goofiness.

So, those of you who know me, know that I went to TJT with a very, very casual fan. I spoke with her yesterday, and she told me that she now listens to U2 every single time she gets in her car and also when she's cleaning her house. She admits that the band are now a permanent fixture in her life. And...A NEW FAN IS BORN!
