Song starts great and ends on a high note.  However, we get to many OHHHHHs, Chants, and annoying text messages in between. Shush some of Bono's lyrics and it could have been better.  As a mantra style song I find GOOYOW superior

Great lyrics, great idea, but doesn't quite bring it off. Going to give it a 6.

Could've been something special. The previews where you heard some of the music and the "Oh oh ohs" were cool. Lyrics are part great but more parts trash. They haven't aged well at all. So frustrating. For every good line or couplet, it's followed by a cringeworthy one (or a weird emphasis). It could've had real lift off, and... yet nothing.

Good:
"Escape yourself and gravity
Hear me, cease to speak that I may speak"

Bad:
"Shush now
Force quit and move to trash"

Good:
"I was right there at the top of the bottom
On the edge of the known universe
Where I wanted to be
I had driven to the scene of the accident
And I sat there waiting for me"

Bad:
"Restart and re-boot yourself"

Good:
"Shout for joy if you get the chance"

Bad:
"Password, you, enter here, right now"

Bad:
"You know your name so punch it in"
I saw Gloria live. Even if I never see the band live again, at least I saw Gloria live. :)

it's exotic enough territory for me to overlook some of the clunky lyrics,  i get what they were aiming for here and it mostly works.

4.

It at least is a relatively left field idea....just badly executed though.

I like this song too but agree that it doesn't fully work - after a really promising intro the verses are rather staid.  I admire the ambition and the attempt to recapture the sonic beauty of TUF-era U2, though.  As that's in many ways my favourite era of U2 I rate this song an 8.
