Underrated.  Don't be fooled by the poppy sheen, it takes some classic U2 turns.  Beautiful lyrics and vocals.

Yeah, the beginning is the only part I don't like. But, isn't the whole song about Brian Wilson, not just the beginning? I think (?) I read that somewhere...

Absolutely love it. Not a fan of a lot of the recent canon, but this was amazing to listen to while driving down Pacific Coast Highway just July on our way to Santa Barbara area.

5- meh, it's alright.  Think they did a better homage to the california Beach Boys sound on SOE than what they tried to force on this track.
