One of my favorite songs.  U2's experimental zenith.  Crazy balls-out conceptual track containing amazing lyrics and a beautiful chorus.  In my top ten.

Inventive U2.  Apparently, it was U2's attempt at making a Prince song.  Well it's better than Lemon Crush.

What more could you want from an experimental U2 song? You've got trippy guitar effects, a super groovy bassline, outstanding lyricism, and Bono utilizes his falsetto beautifully. The Zooropa performances are boss. Lemon is easily a top-tier song from the band.

9. Live versions and the remixes are best, but even the album version is superb.

9/10 Love it. I remember the first time I played the album and this came on I though "ooh, a bit Talking Heads-y" and then Bono started singing in that falsetto and I wondered what on earth was going on. I consider Zooropa an interesting but inconsistently patchy affair but this stands out a mile. Great song.

Such a dense song. Love the simple piano in all the madness. Love the falsetto. Love everything about it. I long for the experimentation, confidence and ballsiness of this era U2.

7/10. I love the soundscape they created here, and the lyrics are great. The live segue into WOWY is genius.
