Just wondering if anyone else is like me, where there top fave u2 songs would mostly be made on Album tracks instead of the singles that charted?
Based on that, i think the only ones that might feature in my top 20 would be
A Celebration
The Unforgetable Fire
11 O Clock Tick Tock
Please
Staring At The Sun

Easy to make a strong playlist of 20 U2 singles. In the 80's alone there were 9 UK singles I like. Be hard to round it down to 20.
To pick an all time top 20 would be even harder. But will have a go.

Only Streets & NYD have made it onto all three lists.
TUF, Pride, ASOH, Sometimes, Ultraviolet, Bullet, Like a Song, Bad & Gloria making it onto two.
Suspect these songs would be on lots of people's top 20's.

Thirteen of my 20 are from the 80's. It's also the dominant decade in the other lists.
That decade U2 really blew everyone else away musically.
But they released some good stuff in the other three decades.

Very few.
Bad.
Streets.
That's about it.
It's debatable whether BAD even counts as a hit. It was massive in 1985 as a live song and with Live Aid, but I doubt anyone knows it today who isn't a hardcore fan.
