BEN ....fucking ..... HEALY!!!!!!

I was about to post something like that!

New week, new race!
I doubt it. Healy is an emerging talent but this wasn’t a real mountain stage - Healy won’t compete at high altitude.

Pog has it. Only injury can stop him, but it’s nice to have an Irishman in the malliot jaune even if it’s only for a short time

Huge Tour for Healy and his team.

A stage win and now in yellow, sponsors will be celebrating.

Yeah.  That’s how you do it.

Although I don’t think Pogi would have lost much time had they not waited for him. It was minimal.

He will probably be back in yellow tomorrow, unless he took a knock. There’s no rush for pog, Healy is no threat, so he’s looking at Evanepoel and Vingegaard who have to attack.

Pog totally dominant.

Vingegaard no match.

Healy out of top ten, predictable. Ah well, an Irishman in yellow for two days makes us remember that once upon of time we were contenders in this race.

Pog has ended it already; and we're not even in the alps yet.

Title #4 a week from Sunday. Who's to say he can't get another two titles and become the all-time record holder? He's only 26.

Gotta love American coverage of foreign sports. They put their TOP guys on it. According to USA Today:

Pogacar is in prime position to win the "yellow jacket". Ireland's Ben HALEY targets top ten finish and "White Jacket". Today the riders have a "day off", before tomorrow's climb to "Mount" Ventoux.

USA! USA!

Well, the mountains are gone and so are vingegaards chances. Only a major accident can stop pog now

Nice to see Irelands Ben Healy fighting for a top ten spot and the white jersey, although it looks like Onley will beat him to white.
Four titles before his 27th birthday. Two more and he’s the record holder…..

What an absolute fucking joke. The first 5 days were on ESPN, then I think all the days until yesterday were on streaming until NBC carried the penultimate day. The final today? Paramount+ again.

Pog now on four tour wins at age 26.

The guys who are tied on 5 wins won their fourth title at age:

Eddie Merckx: 27
Bernard Hinault: 28
Jacques Anquetil: 29
Miguel Indurain: 30
Lance Armstrong: 31

So he's ahead of every curve to become the greatest tour de France rider of all time.

Also has won the Giro and World Title.
