Guys, let’s settle this once and for all. Should the sphere residency be classified as a tour?

No, that's why it's call a "Residency"

Exactly this.

And why it wasn’t included in my stage set polls.

As a U2 show but not a tour.

I'm glad you're clearing this matter up once and for all, old love.

Yet, didn’t include JT30

I have already conceded to at least 2 members, including yourself, that NOT including JT30 was an error, on my part. Although, in my defence, I honestly can’t understand why anyone would vote for a big screen with a plastic Joshua tree stuck on it.

Well, they could vote for it in the worst poll.

Sphere was obviously not a 'tour' per se but it should have been in the poll because it was an extended run of shows with exactly the same stage setup and overall creative scheme - just like a tour.

this should not be that difficult to agree on.

Barry Manilow has been in "Residency" in LV for over 600 shows, breaking Elvis's record.  Would you consider that a tour?

nobody is arguing that Sphere was a tour.

Just like nobody is arguing Barry's residency is a tour.

Sphere simply should have been included in the poll for purposes of assessing and comparing the stage setups for a run of shows.

I'm amazed how hard this is for some people.

Your ego is getting in the way of you understanding a fundamental point: MY poll started by ME was about TOURS, not residencies. If YOU wish to start your own poll including residencies please do so.
