Unfortunately?
I'd like to watch it.  Wish Apple would just release stuff on physical media.

One of my good friends saw this show in Toronto and told me it was excellent.

Being the slave to Apple that I am, I will certainly have a go at watching it.

Some likely interesting tales, but unfortunately sandwiched between the blandest renditions of Streets and Beautiful Day I've ever heard.

The show was great. I’ll watch it. Let’s say it’s the best of what Bono is good at now. Which is smart.

It’s funny because I often think of bout this anecdote of Bono inviting his father to a Joshua Tree tour in 1987. Big stadium show or something like that. And after the show he’s anxious about the kind of feedback his father is gonna give him. And what Bob says is « very professional ». And at the time Bono said it was kind of a let down because he felt everything but.

What I find funny is that it would be a very accurate description of what Bono does now. Very professional.
A dangerous idea that almost makes sense...

What’s weird about this is bono has written a book, done a bunch of performances and released a film about… bono.

Normal famous people just write an autobiography. Or don’t even bother.

You’d think even Bono was bored of Bono by now, but no.

I wish i'd seen the live show. I might just do the free trial of apple to watch this.
I often mock bono/u2 for making a spectacle out of everything they do- so of course bono's autobiography was going to include an album release, stage show and documentary. so while i mock it, i bought and read the book (which i thought was good), bought the album on both CD and vinyl, and will watch the doc.

Indeed, I remember that anecdote. Bono thought he was going for spontaneity, not professionalism. These days his every single move and utterance is carefully curated.
"There's nothing wrong with U2. As far as I'm concerned, I've stolen from Larry Mullen's career for years. Without Larry, I wouldn't be able to stomp and sing, it'd be difficult. I mean I owe debts to the Bhundu Boys, Larry Mullen, Stewart Copeland. They're good players, and they're great songwriters" - Gary "Reni" Wren, drummer, The Stone Roses reunion press conference, 18/10/2011

"I'd just like to put on record that that's bobbins" - Ian Brown, singer, ditto

It's (arguably) been this way since 1991.
