Did Bono spot a U2 fan at Live Aid?

Believe that is the official line. There were a lot of U2 fans at WS.

However have read the person he danced with was not a U2 fan.

There were 3 women who got past security and engaged with Bono.

The blonde one was particulary determined to get over the barrier and was overwhelmed when he gave her a hug. Maybe she was the U2 fan but had disappeared upstairs by the time Bono jumped down. So he danced with the dark haired one.

Bono didn't hesitate when he started pointing and seemed very focused. If it was an act, it was convincing. He was close enough to the audience to spot a U2 fan.

Either way, McCartney was backstage. He was now going to have to listen to there next album pre release date.

He was quite specific in who he was pointing at. Suggesting he had spotted a U2 fan.

If not it was a pre planned gamble rather than a spontaneous one.

It does seem spontaneous.

It was 80's Bono. He was at Live Aid, WS, U2 fans everywhere & was singing SBS & Bad. If that wasn't going to set him off, nothing would.

A chance he just picked a random member of the audience & then waited to see who got to him. As it happened 3 women did.

Queen at WS 1986 now on Freeview Sky Arts.

Will watch it as do like most of the hits & they do put on a show.

Freddie fully fit in 86. As he was at Live Aid in 85.

Don't believe he got ill until the late 80's. The Bohemiam Rhapsody film has him ill pre Live Aid. Disappointing for a bio pic which won multiple awards.
