Bono & PEPFAR

Bono's big project supporting AIDS treatment for poor patients in the news:

Wondering if Bono has a back channel with the Trump Administration. After reading Bono's book, learned how much he lobbied for this fund. He better not be sitting on his hands now. Lives are at stake.

Bono has publicly bashed Trump too much.  Not sure Trump would bother with him.  They both care about their image, but Bono wants to get stuff done and might be the first to bite the bullet, but unless Trump thinks he can get a good photo-op, and Bono kisses his arse in the media, it won't happen.

Went to White House website, contact the President form and it came up as 404 message, not found. Pulled out a postcard to write, asked him if he called Bono on the phone so he could explain the benefits of PEPFAR. I could see this interaction being possible since  trump is such an attention hound he would love to use Bono to make him seem like he has a lib on his side. Maybe not, but at least we still have free speech.
