Hello trabant, thank you! I'll give you tips on places you can visit in Bratislava. :)

Ďakujem! I have a few places already in mind. Obviously looking around the old town and the castle. I also want to go to Freedom Square and see all the 1960's architecture that I know people either love or hate! Also the strange Radio Tower near there that looks like an upside down Pyramid! I would like to go up the UFO Bridge tower too but I don't know if it might be too much of a climb for me, as I'm not as fit as I used to be! Hahaha. Does it have a lift/elevator?! I bet the view from up there is amazing! I like that Bratislava has such contrasting architecture, new and old, classical and modernist, to suit all tastes. It'll only be a quick visit but hopefully I'll be able to return for longer another time. I'd really love to visit Bratislava Zoo as I know they have chimpanzees there (I'm crazy about them!) but I doubt I'll have time on this trip. Hopefully next time! Is there anywhere else, other than the places I've mentioned, that you can recommend I visit in Bratislava?

U2 positive? Not sure if something lost in translation or if you meant to make it sound like attitude but either way, I like it. Welcome home Juraj!!!!

Yes, the UFO has an elevator, so you can get there without difficulty. The UFO has a magnificent view of Bratislava, Austria and Hungary. The Slovak Radio building is called the Pyramid, in him is one of the largest organ in Slovakia.
You are right, Bratislava has suffered communism, the construction of a UFO bridge has been demolished by an entire old quarter, a Jewish getto with a synagogue. It is a city of contrasts, on the one hand there is a lot of socialist realism, on the other, the Old Town has the elegance of the monarchy.
