I'd say that 40 and MLK are the weakest spots on otherwise nearly perfect albums. MLK in particular is fine but not as interesting or moving as it maybe could have been.
I think Cedars is a really good subdued/less bombastic closer. Soft, low range Bono is always a treat, and there's a cool moody backing track. Not the best song on NLOTH, but it's a solid tune and provides good contrast with the other songs.
