"Big" names on "lesser" names records

The below came on on my shuffle today and it gave me an idea for a thread....

Where "big" names appear on "lesser" names records.

I'll start with the song that triggered this:

"Broken Promise" by Placebo feauturing Michael Stipe.

It comes from their 2006 album "Meds"

It was not released as a single so is a deep cut featuring a very big name.

I love it too - think it is a thrilling piece.

So there is the starter......

A little while ago I learned of the somewhat obscure eponymous debut album by folk rock singer Colin Scot released in 1971. Apparently it isn't very good, which is too bad because this album features contributions from some huge prog rock names. Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman from Yes, Peter Hammill and a few other members from Van Der Graaf Generator, Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins from Genesis, and Robert Fripp from King Crimson all appear on this album.

Back in 1991, Eddie Van Halen and co. had finished recording their For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge album. Eddie knew he wasn't going to be playing keys onstage at all in the live show, so he needed a crash course in programming sequencers. Enter Thomas Dolby, whom Eddie repaid by contributing guitar to a couple of songs on the album Dolby was recording at the time.
