I don't think "overrated" applies to any tracks on Pop. The ones that are most liked deserve it, and the ones that aren't, don't.

If not, how does one measure what tens of millions of people think about the songs on POP?

If not, how does one measure what tens of millions of people think about the songs on POP?I'll rephrase. I think a case could be made that Gone is underrated because it is unknown by the majority of people and often falls behind songs like Mofo and Please when U2 fans talk about Pop. So basically, I think the song is better than most other people think it is. Hence, underrated in my estimation. Hope that helps.
