Can’t believe it but I’ve actually come around on WH in recent times.

I have only enjoyed POE less and less as the years have worn on, though. It barely edges out Grace as worst track here for me.

Great album. Another re-invention, this time as a pop band, after the re-inventions of the 90s. Unfortunately, they forgot that re-invention was what they were best at so this marks the end of proper-U2. But that’s because of what came next. This album/tour/period (Super Bowl etc) marks the last high point of U2. Not been anywhere near it since. Side 2 is a bit of a disappointment but tracks 4,5 & 6 are up there with any 3 song run on any U2 album. Listening to this album for the first time was my last truly great U2 moment.

Peace on Earth. Probably the worst sound ever to come out from Edge’s amp.

I could have voted When I look at the world as I believe it’s the worst mix on the album. But the songwriting isn’t bad. They sang it once at the end of Bad and it was beautiful.

Grace is basically a Danny Lanois instrumental with Bono talking/singing over it.

Wild Honey is lightweight but inoffensive.

Grace. It's just boring.

I do think it has one or two good lyrics in it but it also has "its a name for a girl" which is just... sigh. Same thing with Peace on Earth.
