I voted for Streets. After a wonderfully evocative intro penned by 5th U2 member, Eno, this song, frankly, falls flat on its face. This is also evidenced in live performances where, after an initial burst of energy, crowds usually lose interest.

Went with 'With Or Without You'. Its a wonderful song, but as I can't really say any song on the album is overrated, I went with their most popular song. Its great but they have other songs that I think should have more listens on Spotify etc.

I don’t see any overrated song on The Joshua Tree.
A dangerous idea that almost makes sense...

Shocker.

And get your facts straight : the intro is from a demo from The Edge. Eno probably provided the sounds all right. But he didn’t write this.

The ending is as good as the intro. The bit in between is just as good.

I like the song. But I think that it’s a tad overrated by the fanbase. Just my opinion, though.

Which sample are you basing your data on, Martin?

25 years spent on U2 forums, constantly seeing praise for Bullet. It’s a great piece, but no way it’s the best on JT. Hence my vote as most overrated.

Can’t argue with that. I’m totally biased regarding this song and its many different iterations.
