What are the tours you really regret not making it along to, in your adult life?

I will start of by mentioning the Simple Minds 5X5 Tour they did, around 2012 (i think). On this tour, they played 5 songs, from each of their first 5 albums. If ever a tour was meant for me, this was it. I absolutely adore that period of Simple Minds

You were acting like it was the end of the world

Zoo TV arena show.

I wouldn't have minded seeing Bruce Springsteen and REM, too.  In arenas of course.

The future is bright at Everton FC  8)

The Who came to Montreal in 1997. I missed that and I regret it.

"Really regret" is a high standard; let's see what I can come up with:

Queen's Hot Space tour, 1982. Turned down a free ticket from the kid next door and his girlfriend. Told them I'd take them to see Queen the next time they came to town. There was no next time.

That last Soundgarden tour in 2017. I was ill that week, but goddamn, that Detroit show was their last show ever.

Mastodon's Emperor Of Sand tour, which hit town the same week Soundgarden's did. Again, illness did me in.

ELO's tour for Time, 1981 or 1982, with Hall and Oates opening. Really bad time in my life; concerts weren't really a priority for a while there...

I wish I had gone to Kiss' opening show at Tiger Stadium on the 1996-97 reunion tour just to see Alice In Chains open; I would've left right after they finished. Saw Kiss twice back in the '70s, and they got blown off the stage by their opener both times.

Juanes on his 2017 tour. Not that I give a fuck about him, but Mon Laferte was his opening act. Only time she's played here.

...damn, 2017 kinda sucked.  🤣😭

Not to many that have come through town that I’ve missed. The one I can think of is the VH reunion tour. It sold out right away.

I can honestly say that i have been lucky enough to go and see all acts i have really wanted to...there might be the odd specific run that if i think about it i would say ah yeah that tour would have been a good one to catch a show or two on from some of those acts, but honestly nothing that instantly springs to mind or really bugs me.
I know you are here to kill me. Shoot, coward, you are only going to kill a man

Could have seen Wolf Alice on the Blue Weekend tour and didn't.  Will regret that for a while.

* I entered adulthood in 2003.

Arcade Fire - Every tour before I finally saw them on Everything Now. Kicked myself that it took so long. Particularly would have liked to see  their first UK tour when they performed in interesting venues like churches.

PJ Harvey - Let England Shake

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Any tour to come to our shores. Still on my wishlist.

Bob Dylan - Wish I'd seen him about 20 years ago.

Not a tour but wish I'd seen Kraftwerk play at Tate.

Billy Joel's playing his last MSG show this summer (we'll see...) and it would bother me to have never been.

Missing out on Queens of the Stone Age last year really sucked, though. I'm not sure if Josh Homme is still death-spiraling, but who knows how that band comes out of it with future releases.
