Worst concert venues you've been to

This subject has been trending on Twitter for a couple of hours now, with NYC's Terminal 5 dominating:

I'm a lifelong Detroit-area resident, and I've been in places where the security were visibly armed with guns, and other places that were hangouts for nazi skinheads, but I really don't have one. The out-of-town venues I've seen shows at weren't all that bad, either. The closest one to being an "enemy venue" I can remember was Detroit's Magic Stick the first few years they were open in the back half of the '90s, but by 2003 that place was immaculate. It's one of the best clubs to see concerts now.

The old wembley was abysmal.

Then most stadiums are terrible settings for live music.

Nothing for me that falls into that 'enemy venue' thing though - been in a lot of rough houses down the years, but never experienced anything too bad.

Mick Jagger once said that Earls Court was 'the worst toilet I've ever played in.'

Our very own toilet bowl. Saw U2 three times in there. Only the Joshua Tree show had decent enough sound.
