Dallas Schoo
« on: December 14, 2017, 02:58:33 PM »
I just realized that we don't have a Dallas thread...how could we have left him out? I remember, before my 1st SOI show, we were sitting, waiting, waiting, waiting. And then all of a sudden I saw Dallas come out and start messing with Edge's guitars! I was thrilled to see him...and then watching him dart in and out all night, bringing a new guitar for each song...yay!
(I want his job!)

If i was Adam or Larrys tech, id be miffed that Dallas is the only one that gets his own thread!

Adam and Larry are always put on the back burner.
Although I've been a "Bono gal" since '82, I'm far more interested to hear what Adam and Larry have to say these days.

Adam and Larry do seem a bit less "scripted" in interviews, don't they?

Yes, always. I think they care less about "image" than Bono.

Yea, they seem less "scripted" so to speak.

I love Bono, and his "image" although Iwonder sometimes if he is to the point where he's just always "being Bono" or if he allows himself any downtime from that. Haha. Also, I've been (as we probably all have) following him for so long I can almost always say what he's going to say before he says it (in interviews);  America isn't a place, it's an idea...etc, etc.

It's refreshing to get a different perspective from Larry and Adam. Plus, When Larry actually chimes in he's got a pretty good sense of humor

Larry seems like he'd be a blast to go out drinking with.  I wouldn't want to piss him off, though. :o
