Won’t post a clip because it would spoil the entire series, but the final scene of.The Americans using WOWY is amazing.

I've mentioned it before on this forum, but somebody at Top Gear was a huge fan of 90s U2 in particular.  Even Better Than the Real Thing, Acrobat, Daddy's Gonna Pay, Do You Feel Loved, Always Forever Now, and United Colours are all used in the show.

I enjoy The Saved By The Bell episode where they camp out in the mall overnight to get U2 tickets.  Presumably it was Zoo TV.

Yeah, me neither.  All of that is from the Clarkson/Hammond/May era.

Clarkson was my favorite,  though it seems he got into some shit here or there and was booted off.  Don't remember and too lazy to look,  but the guy was damned entertaining.

Bunch of controversies but what finally did it was him punching a producer.  Clarkson was my favorite for a while, but I'm a bigger James May fan these days.

NatGeo has a SpaceX documentary which uses “Alex Descends” really well.

Actually, National Geographic mag had an issue in the 90’s with an article about Bangkok. There is a photograph of a street full of bars, and if you look closely, you can see one with a sign reading “U2 Bar” over the American version of the cover of Boy.

Never heard of it.  Does he milk cows and wrestle pigs and stuff?

In the TV show Succession, Greg says: "I can't believe I'm on a private plane. It's like I'm in a band. A very white, very wealthy band. It's like I'm in U2."
The future is bright at Everton FC  8)
