Can imagine it on Bomb. As an album track. Not sure why it's been released. Not promoting a film or album. The shows are already booked. U2 either believe it's so brilliant it has to be released. Or it's just a left over track & no harm in releasing it as it's not promoting anything.

New music promoting a tour/live shows is an extremely common thing, and it's also not at all weird for the tour to be booked before the new music comes out. Tickets are still on sale.

But it will be played at the shows. Have the shows not sold out?
