New Stones song with guest Lady GaGa

Starts out as a slow blues, builds to an epic ending

I like Angry, but I think I like this one more. Got a bit of that old Stones blues/gospel feel to it.

Listened to the album today....

It isn't absolutely terrible, but it isn't anywhere near worthy of the fawning praise it has mostly received in a lot of the media so far.

It is polished to death and so slick and 'modern' sounding that it comes off as really, really contrived....Instead of getting down and dirty like it appears on surface to, it is more a case of look at us trying really, really hard to sound like we are getting down and dirty and we are all full of piss and vinegar and testosterone, but actually we are being propped up (badly) by a million production tricks and more polish than a mr sheen factory......All of what it tries to be or wants to be has been polished out of it.

It is very, very forgettable - and actually quite dull and about as deep as a puddle.

It is sad really - men of their experience, age and with the lives they have had could tell interesting, stately stories - instead they are trying to recreate (badly) what they were 50 years ago, assisted badly by hired young guns behind the desk and i believe also in song writing duties.

A 4/10 job.

Where would you rank the new album among the Rolling Stone studio albums of the past 40 years?

Undercover - 1983
Dirty Work - 1986
Steel Wheels - 1989
Voodoo Lounge - 1994
Bridges To Babylon - 1997
A Bigger Bang - 2005

I'm not really familiar enough with most of that work to really rank it against them....but it really isn't good IMHO.

It's an album of cheap junk food really - has little to no real nutritional value and does not fill you up at all.

Yeah. I heard a few tracks from the album and im struggling to deal with the Autotune on the vocals. It is HORRIBLE! Not even subtle (maybe intentionally)
In the garden I was playing the tart
I kissed your lips and broke your heart
You
You were acting like it was the end of the world
