Love the Rattle & Hum b-sides.

Room at the Heartbreak Hotel is great. U2 rockn, Bono screaming, female backup singers…it’s a lot of fun and gives me Stones Exile era vibes. Should have been on the album.

Hallelujah Here She Comes is a light breezy tune not typical of U2. I like it.

This may be their best covers era also. Dancing Barefoot, Unchained Melody, and Everlasting Love are all pretty good.

My R&H playlist the the studio material from the album as well as all the JT/R&H B-sides. It's fire.

No, not at all. A lot of the songs were written on the tour and in writing sessions/jams. They rented a place in L.A and wrote a lot of the material there. Heartland was left over from the Unforgettable Fire.

Room at the Heartbreak Hotel was likely written from their L.A sessions.

Lyrically looks like someone coming to Hollywood “with stars in their eyes” and ends up turning tricks on the street.
