Buenos Aires Beach (Live Drugs version)

Show Me The Coast

Your Love Is Calling My Name
Black Water Falls

Under the Pressure
Red Eyes
Ocean in Between the Waves
Disappearing
Eyes to the Wind
Burning
In Reverse

Holding On
Pain
Strangest Thing
Nothing to Find
Thinking of a Place
In Chains

Harmonia’s Dream
Change
Occasional Rain

All perfect songs.

And there are a LOT of solid 8’s and 9’s i’m leaving off this list.

I’ve been listening to Wagonwheel Blues a lot lately.

What a gem.

Every fan knows Arms like Boulders…..
But the real studs on this one are:

There is No Urgency

First, I understand you’re younger than my daughter…. That makes me old I guess.  ;D

About Kurt Vile, I don’t know much of his work. Heard him a few times over the years on SirriusXM.

The other act you mention are unknown to me.

The War on Drugs are an amazing band.

I was blown away by Lost in the Dream and my love of the band was cemented when A Deeper Understanding came out. I think I listened to it every single night for over 6 months.

Also, Adam Granduciel is a genius and no one will make me change my mind about that. 8)

@all: next time you go on a road trip in your car, do yourself a favour and play Lost in the Dream. You won’t regret it.

That’ll be all for now.

Amazing road trip album.

Nothing quite like hitting the gas to “An Ocean In Between the Waves”.
That song helped me find out I have a speed governor on my truck - 109mph. True story. Open highway out in west texas….it was awesome.

Then in comes “Disappearing” next where you just want to zone out. Beautiful track.

Nice.

Clearly a WOD vibe. Understandable with Kurt, as he was a founding member.

A Deeper Understanding was one of my favorite albums of the previous decade. They're a tremendous group.

I disagree.

AF are more adventurous sonically. WOD are mainly guitar driven.
