Omg...so hilarious.
I saw one  (while I was in Ireland. Ironic.)  that said,
"Bono is Gaelic for C*NT!"

I always felt that song was a joke. I never understood people hating on Bono for his charity work.

I saw a graffity in Dublin - well in the internet, but it was in Dublin, saying „Bono Vox is a pox“ 
I will never understand why he is hated so much, neither for his charity work or in general.

I think he‘s a very humble and sympathetic person, Many of them who worked with him, they all say the same. I think he’s much more humble than the people that I know, and in my circle of friends there is now one who has at least a hundredth fortune of what he has.

There is just this weird almost ideological hatred of U2 among some in the music press, that constantly bring out this trope of Bono being some ego maniacal pretentious dick. But from actually, idk, WATCHING Bono do interviews, perform, etc, I dont get that vibe at all.
