Aging U2 songs like wine - which tastes best?
« on: December 09, 2017, 11:11:32 PM »
I just watched Beautiful Day (live).  For years, Avoided it like it was good but expired.

It has earned vintage value especially in a live setting.

Dirty Day

I'll second If You Wear That Velvet Dress. Very underrated mood piece with some really cool sonic textures.

The entire Zooropa album.  I never really liked it that much, I thought it was solid but wasn't high on my list of favorite U2 albums, but i gave it the first full album listen through in a long time yesterday, and dang, I was really impressed.

I always liked Zooropa but i like it more and more over time.  it was pretty strange sounding when it came out.  Only Stay sounded like a traditional u2 song.  I still wish the Wanderer was a duet rather than just Johnny Cash singing, otherwise it belongs on a Cash album.
