Adam's solo interview
« on: December 09, 2017, 05:18:52 AM »

It's good to hear perspectives from Adam when he's put alone, and interesting that YTBTAM appeared to be inspired by a journalist taking a swing at Bono.

But you do have to get around this terrible interview technique. Very little research done, and she struggles with the title of that little known album released in 1987.

Yeah, he's great interviewed alone, which tends to happen only in European interviews. He seemed at ease and so professionally eloquent. Saying enough but not too much.

She was ok but didn't even know about Volcano (who has the same riff as AS). Wish us fans could be asking the questions. Lol.

Interviews are often more interesting when Bono is absent!

Yes; Adam always comes across as the most poised and polished at this point in time.

I have noticed that in a few of his latest interviews that he “quotes” bono with some of his scripted responses. I would prefer that he say what he wants but it’s obvious that they need to stick with plan when it comes to interviews.

I bet they've sat around the table and went through some obvious questions and talked about it.

I've always wanted to hear an extensive interview with Larry.  In R&H he comes across a bit daft but also like a fun guy.

Larry--very opinionated, a bit daft, but a fun guy... when you haven't annoyed him too much.  That's my general impression, too.

Larry's VERY funny in R&H when he's making fun of Adam's hand gestures...cracks me up every single time.
