Wow. Nice work Soloyan.

Might have to give a third shot at the album...

Absolutely fantastic work, just brilliant.

SOE got under my skin in a big way exactly 5 years ago. Not everyone heard it the way I did, but I enjoyed the experience very much. I am happy for anyone stuck into SOS.

Thanks for giving me the space to share this.

I thought that since I got obsessed with this record I might as well make something out of it and share what I hear.

I wanted to share on the forum first, but as you can see, ideas came flowing and it became this monster of a review  ;D

I just hope it clicks with a few members, wether they like SOS or not.

Cheers !

One thing I appreciate is to hear a musicians take on what they do. This review was actually really interesting from that point of view for us who aren't musicians.

Brilliant work. I especially like your take on stories for boys, it’s a song that I have started to appreciate a lot more as the years go by, and the SOS teak is new and fresh.

In just a few lines here, you nicely explain what this album is:

My belief if that, if you’re comparing those songs to their originals, you’re missing the point. This is not a « best of » record. This is not a « see how much we’ve grown » album.  It’s rather a « see where we’re at » record and a humble realization that those songs still have a deep meaning

Bien joué mon ami!
