The « De-aged » Harrison Ford we see in the trailer has me wondering if I want to see this…

My guess is an ageing Indiana Jones hands over the reins - or bullwhip - to his niece to set her up to be the leading character in a new run of Indiana - or India "I'm a Ph.D" - Jones films.  How exciting.

I heard it’s only the opening sequence which features the de-aged Jones, which sets up the rest of movie

I read in Empire magazine the opening sequence is 1944 Nazi Germany with a de-aged classic Jones.

Nice nod at the end to Raiders.  Looks promising.

I saw the original Raiders in the theater. I think I was 13. Those first 20 minutes were mind blowing!

It was playing at one of the premium theaters in MTL and IIRC, it was the first movie they were showing with their brand new THX sound system.

It looks decent. That being said, Disney managed to destroy Star Wars and the same people are helming this one, so I suspect they will ruin the character or do something stupid. Indy is my favorite fictional hero and I really don't want to see him destroyed. We shall see...

There have been multiple endings shot, some which would set-up a different character picking up the mantle. Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who plays Indy's God-daughter (supposedly) is one of the characters they might push for a spin-off.  Not stoked about it.  She already ruined one franchise recently (co-writer on the latest Bond film which I am dis-liking more and more).
Also sounds like the rumored appearance of Short Round isn't in the film either.  The recent picture on Instagram of Ford and Ke Huy Quan wasn't from the set but a chance reunion at a convention.  Ford didn't even remember Quan's name and asked him if he was Shorty.

Yeah, I can't say I'm a fan of Phoebe Waller-Bridge. She keeps getting shoehorned into stuff and I never end up liking her character. I also think her writing for No Time to Die didn't do much for the script, so I have very low expectations about her appearance here.
